JD 790 on E Bay

I have a 2004 model JD for sale on E Bay. It has a backhoe box scraper, brush hog, land scape rake. only has 125 hours on it. Check it out!!! Item number: 3862143323. I been reading the posts on this page for a long time , never thought I would be selling my trusty 790. I am moving to Salem Oregon and will not have any use for the tractor.

Ed, Interested in selling the back-hoe separately? I have a 790 also. Where are you located now? Also I would be interested in how you thought the backhoe worked on the 790? I would use it to dig up large stones/bolders/tree stumps (among other things) and had have some concerns if this compact tractor/back-hoe could handle that.

Hi, The tractor is sold. The #7 backhoe works great. I have dug up stumps and rocks. It just takes a little longer than a full size backhoe. you would be surprized at how well it digs. Most of the power is in the curl of the bucket. I suppose if you wanted to dig a swimming pool you could, it wold take alot longer but can be done.

Ed, Thanks for the info. Now I just have to convince my wife I need a back-hoe also! Be good to find a used one but I expect the do not come up separately very often.
